The Toronto Maple Leafs are looking to rebound from a dispiriting loss to the Buffalo Sabres Friday night. By the time they woke up last night they were already down 2-0. With Ryan Miller in his usual form it was too steep of a hill to climb. On the bright side, the Leafs travel to Ottawa tonight where they are 4-0 in their last four Saturday night games.

Two1sts has an exhaustive preview of tonight's matchup. The game features Ottawa's 22nd and Toronto's 27th ranked offences so odds are it'll be a tight checking and low-scoring game. That means that it'll be vitally important to get the first goal:

The Leafs sport a 66% winning percentage when scoring first, but a terrible, approximately 16% winning percentage when trailing first.  Ottawa sports a strong 80% winning percentage when scoring first, and an approximately 12% winning percentage when trailing first.  As Ottawa has such a strong winning percentage when scoring first, and the Leafs have a poor winning percentage when trailing first, the Leafs need to ensure they get the first goal at all costs.

Tonight's game will get the Jim Hughson, Craig Simpson, Glen Healy broadcast trio so be prepared to be frustrated by their alternating incompetence and sneering disdain for the Maple Leafs. You'd think Hughson would be appreciative for having his career launched on CHCH but he's pretty ungrateful.

Your flashback for the night, is the night Darcy Tucker leapt to his family's defence:
