Points Percentage Based Standings

How about the Leafs last night? Big comeback win against a good team to take them to 2-0-0 at the start of the Week of Doom. With four points in their past two how do the Leafs stack up if you correct the standings to reflect Toronto's games in hand?

Not that well actually. Boston jumps from eighth to fifth and Carolina flips with Ottawa. Unlike the last time we did this though the eighth place pace jumped to 92 points. The good news I suppose is that the Leafs could keep winning and take over that ninth spot should a few teams falter.

That'd be a decent pill to swallow should this season end without the playoffs again I guess.

There's a real gap growing in the standings. The Leafs won't be able to go through their annual January swoon if they want to cut the gap.
