The Playoff Prediction Project

The regular season is ended. Now cometh upon us the time of the playoff.
Not coincidentally, the time of playoff prediction is here.
Before each and every playoff round, we will ask the writers of the Nation Network to submit their picks for our playoff preview. We will also open up the contest to every commenter who wishes to enter, so long as their picks are in before puck drop on Wednesday. To enter, simply write the winner of each series and how many games it will take them to win.
Scoring:
- Best series prediction record (length excluded)
- Tie-breaker one: Most accurate prediction in the Stanley Cup finals (winner and length)
- Tie-breaker two: Highest number of correct predictions (both series and length)

Dear Mr. Wilson please look at you cap situation. Next Look at your prospect pool (worst in the NHL only Philly is really even close). After that I would refer you to the picks you have in this years draft.
Yes we suck right now, but so do you and in three years I can safely say we will be back in. Cowtown you will try and make it next year and fail. Then if you don't blow it up its prolly gonna keep up for the next decade or so (only 6 years if you blow it up)

Vancouver in 5, Chicago is just what they need to be more than ready If they cant win a Stanley this year I do not see how they ever will., SJ in 4 The loss of LA's #1 goal scorer will kill them, Phx/Winnipeg in 6 I really think they are Due, Nas in 6 No one will want to play this team they could go all the way, Was in 5 This is no contest, Phi in 7 Pronger matters, Mtl in 6 Could go either way, TB in 7 Have goal scoring and a proven goal tender Roli could take them to the final and Who in Oiler country would be surprised.(If he does it will just make the Habi contract stick all the more in the craw!)(Of coarse if we did still have Roli we would be drafting 5th-10th and that would just extend the misery) This will be fun to watch especially in the west.
