Via Youtube user anton1987 comes a blurry video of Morgan “I Before E” Rielly’s insane end-to-end goal against the Lethbridge Hurricanes last night.

Not sure if you’ve heard, but Rielly has put up some huge offensive numbers in the WHL this year, the fall after being taken No. 5 overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Rielly’s fourth on the season was the 3-1 goal in an eventual 3-2 win for Moose Jaw. Their record improved to 6-5-1-1 on the season. Rielly, meanwhile, is tied for 15th in WHL scoring with 16 points through 13 games, and tied for third in defencemen scoring. Oddly, one of the guys above him, Ryan Pulock of the Brandon Wheat Kings, is first time eligible this season.

I’m sure at some point we’ll contextualize Rielly’s season, but the above goal is a fun display of what the kid can do.
