I'm definitely intrigued by the D situation when Gardiner comes back. First thing I noticed once I looked at the TOI at the end of the game is that Kostka played almost exactly the minutes that Gardiner generally did last year. It will be an interesting problem but it's nice to know that Gardiner can be eased back into it at 13 or 14 minutes for his first few games...as long as this wasn't a one off.

Very happy with Kadri's game. I keyed in on him a few times on the rush and he was very obviously aware of his defensive position, even though the Leafs were in the offensive zone. He needs more than 10 minutes of ice time though. I'd like to see him play at least 14 or 15.

First to Worst! --- Scrivens, Lupul, Subban

I think Lupul getting 5 years right now is a bad idea. Dude is great but bad luck leafs have to hope that he will put up the numbers like he did last year.

Whoa, Kessel actually played defence by stealing a puck and almost scored against the Habs right after that! Boy, the Canucks, need to win some games, no matter who is in their net! The card I prefer is the Signed Ben Scrivens rookie card, but the Joffrey Lupul and P.K. Subban cards look good too!

Great video. I would've started Scrivens he's been playing all year in the AHL.

It is an interesting decision to play Scrivens and I can see the reasoning, but I think Reim will be back in a few games.

Awesome to see both NHL and LFRs back. Good first game even if it was a bit butt clenching in the 3rd period! Preferred card would be Lupul.

In regards to the draw I mean...any of them are cool but would prefer Scrivens :) That guy was solid game 1 and looking forward to seeing what he can produce in the future (Especially if Reimer gets healthy and starts putting pressure on to preform).

Think about it why would we want Luongo first two games the players involved within a luongo trade have preformed well Kadri 2 goals Bozak 1 goal 1 assist as well as an 80% face off percentage in game 2 and scrivens 1.5 Gaa

Leafs played a pretty good game against the Habs. You could tell there was some rust for both teams. Kadri and Kostka are looking good. Enter me in for the Scrivens rookie card Steve!
