Say hello to the new guy.

After Steve Dangle and Cam Charron threatened to treat me like the Undertaker treated Mankind in their infamous 1998 "Hell in a Cell" match I have accepted their offer to be a part of the Leafs Nation team.

I am actually quite excited to be part of the Leafs Nation team. This is a website featuring some solid young talent and all the writers share a common bond; they are passionate about the Leafs and hockey.

I also appreciate that the writers at the site look at the Leafs a little differently than many in the mainstream media. Make no mistake; I have no agenda against any MSM member. But I do recognize that there are times when some of the best takes concerning the Leafs can be found on websites like this.

Covering and viewing hockey is more complex now than ever before. So the more voices and opinions that are out there for the reader to consume, the better.

I don't expect to always be right and I certainly don't expect for readers to agree with everything I have to say. That would be really boring and that just isn't reality.

You rarely interact with a group of Leafs fans who agree on everything that is being said or written about the team. So this blog and my takes should be no different. As long as you don't say anything about my family you can rip me all you want if you don't like what I had to say.

Much like Dmitri Yushkevich I can take it.

For those of you who are asking Wendel Clark is one of my all-time favourite Leafs.

This beauty from Doug Gilmour in the 1993 playoffs ranks as my favourite Leafs goal in my lifetime.

I loved the moment when Darcy Tucker snapped and decided to jump into the Sens bench.

Over the years I have grown accustomed to the Leafs losing and breaking my heart, I can handle losses, but I can't stomach when the Leafs lose without putting up a fight.

That's pretty much it for now. Now you know what I am all about I am looking forward to being a regular contributor to the Leafs Nation.

And yes, I am very worried about tonight's match-up against the Kings.
