On one hand, the Leafs are on a five-game winning streak and picked up a victory on the second half of a back-to-back against the defending Stanley Cup Champions. On the flip side, Toronto was utterly dominated for much of the night, and could consider themselves lucky to come out with a victory, especially after allowing Los Angeles to come back 2-0 deficit with three goals in exactly five minutes.

Leafs at the World Juniors: David Booth, 2004

David Booth hasn't seen a whole lot of action with the Maple Leafs this season, averaging around ten minutes of ice time per night in eight games so far this year.

But ten years ago (soon to be eleven), the nine-year NHL veteran suited up for the 2004 American World Junior squad, which culiminated in a historic gold medal victory in Helsinki.

Leafs at the World Juniors: Joffrey Lupul, 2003

Over the next two weeks here at TLN, I'm going to be looking back at the different Leafs to suit up at the World U20 Hockey Championship, more commonly referred to as the World Juniors. 

As I'm sure you know, Toronto and Montreal will be hosting the tournament this year (as well as 2017), resulting in road trips for both the Leafs and the Canadiens during the duration of the tournament to allow for their arenas to be used.

Leafs Postgame- Miller Falls Down A Lot

The last time the Leafs played the Canucks, Roberto Luongo was still their goaltender and Mason Raymond scored against his former team in a 3-1 Leafs victory. 

And while the aforementioned players may have since found new destinations, the result was still the same as the Leafs landed a 5-2 victory against their cross-country opponents on Saturday night.
