So apparently Cody Franson might get traded. Here's a picture of him looking for a cab to the airport or something.
People are accusing me of hating everything the Leafs do just because I’m a whiner. I mean, I’ve spent over half a decade blogging about the Toronto Maple Leafs, two of which were spent actually working for the team, and I've been constantly dumped on for defending the likes of Phaneuf, Kessel, etc. But hey, people disagree with me, so let’s all call Steve a meanie bo beanie because I disagree with his points and critical thinking.
How about this…
Here is how I think trading Franson could be a good idea, and how trading Franson could be a bad idea.

I know you're getting tired of hearing myself - and let's face it, the vast majority of the hockey blogging community - criticizing Dave Nonis.
I know you're sick of hearing about how we think the Bernier deal could have gone better and wasn't even really necessary. I get that.
I know you're getting tired of hearing us bitch about the Grabovski buyout and Bozak re-signing. I get that.
I know you're getting tired of hearing how, despite the fact he's a good hockey player, David Clarkson's contract is pretty terrible. I get that.
So tell you what: I'm not going to criticize the 5-year extension the Toronto Maple Leafs just signed Dave Nonis to. Nope. Nuh-uh. Not gonna do it.

Since the first interview in the Know a Writer series was so well-recieved, how could I not do more?
Our next featured sports writer has recently made a transition to baseball, but has been one of my favourite hockey writers for a while now. As a weirdo with a YouTube channel, I am drawn to people who think outside of the traditional box. Jesse Spector is one of those fresh thinkers.
Now you can get to know him.

Oh hey look! It's beer!
On the new Steve Dangle Podcast, we talk about Olympic projections (and predictions), the new divisions, Christopher Gibson signing with Toronto, Mike Kostka signing with Chicago, and Adam interview Miley Cyrus. Like, for real.
