Toronto Marlies Outdoor Game Jersey Leaked?

The Toronto Marlies will soon be unveiling their jersey for December 30th's Comerica Park game against the Grand Rapids Griffins, but that doesn't mean you can't see them earlier. Real Sports Apparel accidentally put this jersey up on their website for sale yesterday, before quickly taking it down. It's safe to say this is what will be shown on Saturday afternoon.

Wild Over-analysis Wednesday: Swap Meet

As confirmed yesterday and originally reported by me on Monday (TLN with those #exclusives, yo) the Toronto Marlies swapped around their two rookie goaltenders, sending Garret Sparks to the Orlando Solar Bears of the ECHL and calling up Christopher Gibson. I've had a few people ask me about this, so let's go into detail into the significance that this seemingly minor move may have.

Marlies Win 3-2 Over Charlotte

Unique teams! Non-divisional and non-occasional! I love them! Wait, we're seeing these new guys again just three days later, and they're gone from the building afterwards until who knows what season? How about that.. whatever the case, the Toronto Marlies are back home for their third game in four nights, re-facing the Charlotte Checkers. On Saturday, the Marlies beat the Hurricanes affiliate 4-1, lead by Greg McKegg's two goal, two assist performance. Tonight, the Marlies doubled up, defeating the Checkers for the second time in the homestead.

Marlies to host Farjestads in Exhibition Game

Following Leafs coach Randy Carlyle's pre-game media availability, American Hockey League President and CEO David Andrews announced that the Toronto Marlies will face SHL club Farjestad BK in an international exhibition game on February 15th, 2014.

Marlies Beat Stars In 10 Round Shootout

Everything is bigger in Texas, including their AHL team's spot in the standings entering todays game. Sitting in fourth place, the Texas Stars, affiliate of Dallas, were six spots ahead of the Toronto Marlies and looking to maintain that gap. On the other hand a win for the blue and white would tie them with Oklahoma City for the last playoff spot in the west (yes, it's very early, but still accurate). The result? A little bit of both; Texas picked up a point to help their push, and the Marlies grabbed a big pair with a shootout win.
