So the scoring chances for and against Toronto were 17 to 15 in that game? It was a closer game than it appeared, just that Edmonton has finally drafted some snipers who can actually capitalize on them.
I remember for years Edmonton would outchance the opposition all game, and lose 3-2. We had lots of dishers, no finishers.
I think you need more finishers. A lot of players can dish, but precious few can Stamkos it in. Lazer beam. Sniper.
Kessel is your only sniper. You need 2 more to be successful, end of story.

  • I entered a scoring chance in the 2nd period that occurred with 5:25 left, it was supposed to be an Edmonton chance but I mistakenly registered it as a Toronto chance. I will correct the tables accordingly. Sorry for the error.

The Leafs’ complete inability to convert on their opportunites right now is certainly very frustrating.
