Steve, The highlight of 2015 was the day Mike Babcock decided to become the coach of our beloved Maple Leafs. Look at what he has accomplished with what has been referred to as a garage sale lineup. 1-7-2 for the first 10 while the players learned how to play his systems then 13-8-5 since.

6-2-2 in the past 10, this group keeps getting better. Imagine what Babcock might do with some talent in the lineup?
It’s magnificent to watch especially with the team from Quebec doing their impression of the 2015 Maple Leafs.

I predicted 68 points for the season even after they earned 4 whole points in the first 10 games… I think I might be close even after they have a trade deadline fire sale,
How many points do you think the team will get???

This fire sale you talk about is only a fantasy. Overpaid players are on market all over the league (ie:Philadelphiia, Edmonton, Ottawa etc). Some of those players are actually serviceable in NHL unlike players Leafs fans are hoping to dump off. Way too many teams already have cap issues, don’t be surprised if Leafs have to eat major salary to make moves or be stuck with these player for next season

Aside from my happy dance upon learning that we snagged Babcock, my favourite moment of 2015 just might have been last night watching Jonathan Bernier morph into Bernier Parent, even if it turns out that it was for just one game.
2015 needed LFRs more than any other year. Thanks for keeping me entertained when the Leafs couldn’t.
