Well, not actually —but there’s already been two HUGE trades.
What are the Leafs up to? All’s quiet on the western front.
With Thursday night’s player draft now firmly in the rear-view mirror, the countdown is on to the on-ice festivities —beginning with the revamped skills competition at Scotiabank Arena on Friday night.
Firstly, how cute: Team Matthews was able to secure both William Nylander and Mitch Marner. Great scouting job by Justin Bieber!
For the second straight day, Leafs Morning Take was broadcasted LIVE from the Seagram’s VO Whisky Studio at SponsorshipX. We kicked off the show by discussing Thursday’s night festivities —both at the player draft and on the bar scene. Everything. Is. Happening. This. Weekend.
After that, presented by Door Dash, we were fortunate enough to have AEW’s Adam Copeland drop by the set. The WWE Hall of Famer is a massive Leafs fan. He’s been on with us a few times before. It was a really fun conversation. We covered a bunch of different things.
