Anthony Stewart, Jackie Redmond, & Shane O’Brien drop by the Seagram’s VO Whisky Studio: Leafs Morning Take

The wait is finally over.

After months of anticipation, the hockey world is in Toronto and the 2024 NHL All-Star festivities are officially underway.

In case Wednesday night’s blockbuster deal between Calgary and Vancouver wasn’t enough to cleanse your palette, The Nation Network is live on location from the Seagram’s VO Whisky Studio at SponsorshipX through Friday.

What’s that mean for you? Well, to be honest, not much outside of the fact that Leafs Morning Take is being shot at a neutral location for the first time in its history —which means yours truly and Jay Rosehill – together – under the same roof. What. A. Concept.

At any rate, we kicked off the Thursday edition of Leafs Morning Take by setting the scene from SponsorshipX, which by the way, is a sports marketing conference being hosted at the Fairmont Royal York downtown. Presented by Door Dash, The Appetizer focused on All-Star Weekend. We each gave our thoughts on what we’re looking forward to the most this weekend. It’s an exciting time for the brand, and also Rosey’s liver.

Next, thanks to the Wendy’s Daily Faceoff Survivor, we welcomed in former NHLer and occasional guest co-host of LMT Anthony Stewart. In addition to getting his thoughts on the weekend, we also dissected the status of the Maple Leafs right now, too.

 

Meantime, courtesy BATL Axe, the incomparable Jackie Redmond stopped by. The NHL/WWE Host wasted no time dishing up some red-hot takes on her beloved Toronto Maple Leafs. She even brought Rosey’s infamous rant from the other day.
