BREAKING NEWS: TJ BRENNAN HAS BEEN RECALLED!!!

Presses have been stopped. Alert levels have been raised. TJ Brennan has been recalled. 

This recall is once again, on an emergency basis. That emergency is not wanting to find out if Zack Sill could be as bad on defence as he is as a forward. So now the Leafs have 6 healthy-ish defencemen. Rejoice.

Wasn’t Brennan just here on Saturday night? How is he being recalled? 

Brennan was sent down so he could play for the Marlies on Sunday and help them claw their way into the playoffs so they too can know the joy of a first round playoff loss. Brennan pulling double duty should give the Leafs organization a real good look at a player that many are convinced should be brought back next year.

Expect a few more shuffles like this as the Leafs have six more games and we’ll have the exciting opportunity to update you on five more demotions and promotions for ol’ Terrance James.
