Dubas to speak at Empire Club of Canada event next month

Ever wanted to have a fancy luncheon where you hear Leafs GM Kyle Dubas discuss analytics to you and a crowd? You do? Now’s your chance

On January 21, 2019 at noon at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Dubas and Raptors GM Bobby Webster will be headlining a conversation hosted by the non-profit Empire Club of Canada titled “How Big Data is Changing Professional Sports“. Fitting, for a guy who’s been involved in the turnaround of his franchise in just two short years.

According to their website, the Empire Club of Canada “has hosted 3500 prominent Canadian and international leaders…Topics encompass business, politics, education, trade, labour, culture, international issues, as well as, other relevant topics that emerge.”
