The only way the @Toronto Maple Leafs will be trading F @Kasperi Kapanen is if it&#8217;s in a big deal that makes them significantly better, Sportsnet&#8217;s Elliotte Friedman reported Wednesday.
The report came in his weekly 31 thoughts column.

Kapanen has put up 10 goals and 18 assists in 49 games for the Leafs this season as a third-liner who likely could play a top-six role and succeed in doing so. The Maple Leafs are right for holding onto Kapanen for a &#8220;big deal.&#8221;
His value is as high as it&#8217;s ever been whether it&#8217;s to the team, or on the trade market.
