The Leafs were really pressing in the 3rd period!  It’s amazing that they only scored 2 goals for the whole game.  Armstrong gave a strong performance in his first game back from injury and was +5 at EV, behind only Versteeg (+7) among the forward group.  Kaberle made up for his poor game against Edmonton by going +9 against the Bruins to lead the team.
Phil Kessel, who was slotted in at centre, won 6 faceoffs and lost 10, fortunately he won a crucial faceoff with less than a minute left in the 3rd period to give the Leafs possession of the puck and they scored 8 seconds later to tie the game.  Kessel was also matched up against Chara for 13.2 minutes during EV play.
