Lamoriello on William Nylander: “Before you know it he’ll be back.”

After it was reported five days ago William Nylander was still feeling effects of his concussion suffered in his opening game of the World Juniors, some good news came today via TSN 1050’s Jonas Siegel in a conversation with Leafs GM Lou Lamoriello.
Via Jonas Siegel, Nylander sounds like he’ll be returning shortly- although the wording of an exact return date is a little cryptic.
Lou added:
The best case scenario for the Leafs is that Nylander’s cleared of symptoms and virtually ready to go- they’re just being cautious with one of their top prospects- especially with a head injury. While it’s unknown if this is the case, it’s good to hear Lou speaking publicly about this injury in a positive light.
Having been selected to the AHL All-Star game scheduled to take place on Feb. 1, it’s possible that Nylander will be able to return in time for that. Nylander’s 34 points in 27 points sit third in the AHL, despite having missed time for the World Juniors and injury. While possibility of an NHL call-up for Nylander has been rumoured this year, if he does stay down, tracking the scoring race for the rest of the year of a teenager who’s missed enough of the season is quite the interesting storyline.
