The first event to kick off the offseason is the prospect development camp happening directly after the draft weekend. Early Monday morning, the Maple Leafs announced the roster.
Complete roster below:
Prospects spanning multiple draft years and some undrafted players as well, the Leafs hodgepodge of prospects will be playing through the camp Monday and will continue throughout this week.
Drafted last weekend and already playing with the club will be forward Nick Robertson, selected at 53rd overall in Vancouver. The 5-foot-9 pesky skater was one of the highlights for what has been considered a successful draft for Toronto.
Other 2019 draftees that will be attending the development camp include defencemen Mikko Kokkonen, Mike Koster, Kalle Loponen and forward Nick Abruzzese.
Undrafted OHL free agent signing Justin Brazeau will also be in attendance, the forward was considered a major player to be signed as an overager.
Two top goalie prospects in Ian Scott and Joseph Woll will also be attending the camp. Both coming off of stellar campaigns — Scott took his Prince Albert Raiders to the Memorial Cup and Joseph Woll had an unreal season with Boston College.
The week-long camp will be happening at the Mastercard Centre, with Sheldon Keefe and Director of Player Development Scott Pellerin taking the prospects under their control. First media availability, to get all the quotes from the young players, will be tomorrow, Tuesday June 25th.
