Leafs recall Sam Carrick

This will be the third call-up for Carrick, who has already punched in a couple five game stints with the big club in November and January. In ten appearances with the Leafs, he has yet to register a point, albeit playing only 5:17 per night on average.

We should probably expect to see a lot of movement between the Ricoh and ACC in these last months of the season as the Leafs go into firesale/McDavid mode. Hopefully, for guys like Carrick, this will mean a real shot at impressing at the NHL level, instead of just filling in with some Colton Orr-like minutes.
