Leafs Select Riley Stotts 83rd Overall

From the Calgary Hitmen in the WHL, the Leafs select left-handed center Riley Stotts with their 83rd overall pick.

A mid-season change from the Swift Current Broncos to the Calgary Hitmen was massive for Stotts. Going from just three points in twenty-two games for the Broncos, then scoring forty-one points in forty-four games for the Hitmen. The most probable cause for this was the insane depth the Broncos have. Stotts got the chance to play more minutes with the Hitmen and performed properly.
