It’s a Game Day!
Game 79 of the regular season takes the Leafs to Brooklyn as they continue their quest to clinch a berth in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Islanders clinched a berth two days ago, while the Leafs – in a tougher division with a tough run of late – are still awaiting the x beside their name.
The total has gone OVER in 18 of Toronto’s last 22 games when playing NY Islanders- From our friends at OddsSharks

Leafs Lines

The Bad: Andreas Johnsson is sick and will be a game-time decision. Jake Muzzin, meanwhile, has food poisoning.
The Good: Calle Rosen makes his season debut on a tentative third pair with Martin Marincin, should Muzzin indeed miss tonight’s game. If Muzzin is in, expect Rosen to pair with Travis Dermott on the third pairing.
The Extra Good: Jake Gardiner is also closer to returning – participating in practice without a red no-contact sweater, per Mark Masters. Expect him to be back sooner than later.

The Islanders are without Valteri Fullipula and Andrew Ladd tonight. This isn’t a team of offensive juggernauts – they sit 21st in goals-for in the league, but they’ve been incredibly stingy in goals against, ranking first in the league allowing just 193 thus far.

Starting Goalies

Expect Robin Lehner (.928) and Frederik Andersen (.917) to square off tonight. Andersen faces the Islanders for the first time this season, while Lehner faced the Leafs in Long Islander on February 28th.
Puck Drop is at 7pm ET on Sportsnet Ontario.
