Did you love last night’s win? Well, it ain’t over yet!
The Leafs return home after a night out in Pittsburgh in an attempt to win their third in a row against Kris Russell and the Edmonton Oilers. Will the Leafs prevail again, or will Edmonton score their second game winning goal against the Leafs in a row (but this time, in the Leafs net)?

Leafs Lines

We have yet to hear what the Leafs lines will look like tonight, but we do know that Curtis McElhinney will be the starter, and it looks like Soshnikov will be drawing in tonight, according to Paul Hendricks.
Panic time: Auston Matthews is a game time decision, which is probably why Sosh is coming into the lineup tonight.

Oilers Lines

Brossoit is the confirmed starter, but other than that, no official word on the Oilers lines. However, these were their lines last night against Montreal.
This is probably something like what the Leafs will see tonight. That is, if Chiarelli hasn’t traded Nuge before game time.

Notes

-Like the Leafs, the Oilers are coming off a game last night with travel, so both teams should be equally fatigued.
-Josh Leivo and Connor Carrick, to the surprise of no one, and the disappointment of everyone, remain healthy scratches for tonight’s game.
-Brossoit started last night in Montreal, so the Leafs will be playing against a fatigued goaltender tonight.
-Aside from Matthews, there are probably no other surprise injuries/scratches, not including the players who’ve been out for a while (Sekera, Talbot, and Larsson).
-Connor McDavid sits 10th overall in scoring with 35 points. After that, only Draisaitl, Lucic, and Nugent-Hopkins have more than 20 points (all of them have 21).
-While Matthews isn’t as high up in the scoring leaders (he’s tied for 35th with 26 points), the Leafs have five players with 20+ points, and Marner with 19. They also have 13 players with at least 10 points, compared to the Oilers nine players.
Puck drop is the same as last night, so tune in at 7pm sharp.
