After losing to crosby and the pens® last night, the Leafs commute down to Byfugallo to play the really terrible sabres.
i can make as many jokes as i want about buffalo but unlike the MAple Laffs who have been average for the last decade, Buffalo is GOOD at something. that something is being really bad, but that’s just simantics – which is more important than analytics #ThanksDubas #FireCharron
If you ask me it is disrespectful that Buffalo is tanking since it is the Maple Leafs that are named after something from the military.
THE LEAFS
So the Leafs are coming off a loss what a surprise. Maybe Carlisle shouldn’t treat Kessel like he is the leader of a chain gang and stop making him drag along his linemates against their will but that’s none of my business.
Peter Netherlands (more like never-lands a body check, he’s so soft) didn’t do so great last night against some of the best players in the world which means you should expect him to be punished tonight and get no ice time. I don’t care if the coach deployed him incorrectly its the player’s fault.
How much more stuff does Leo Komarov have to do before he is named Kaptain? Last year we didn’t reward Dave Bolland with the ‘C’ and look what happened. it was like the game 7 collapse but over an entire season.

what more can be said about how lesser of a team the Sabres are than every other team in the league. Buffalo is historically bad so expect the Leafs to make them history tonight. I bet Ted Nolan wishes he was still coaching Team Latvia because at least they had some NHL calibre players.
