The Leafs somehow touched down in airport-less Winnipeg for a Wednesday night tilt against the Jets. The 6-2-1 Jets are a sliver ahead of the 6-3-0 Leafs in the standings, but the Leafs are a sliver ahead in Auston Matthews-having, which is fun.

This just in: the Jets are good at hockey, and deep all around. They’re also completely healthy, which is more than the Leafs can say right now.
It’s worth noting, however, that John Tavares is not a Winnipeg Jet.

Frederik Andersen and Julien from Trailer Park Boys duke it out between the pipes tonight. Andersen’s save percentage is up to .910 on the season now, in spite of a rocky start and a tough game against the Blues on Saturday night.
Connor Hellebuyck, meanwhile, is riding a .909 thus far after an outstanding 2017-18 campaign. Andersen better?
