The Toronto Maple Leafs’ season is over, but that doesn’t mean that we should stop talking about it. Starting tomorrow afternoon, there will be a daily poll being put out on our Twitter account that will give you the chance to vote between two goals. This poll is a part of a bracket that we have put together to try and find the best goal from the Maple Leafs’ season this year.
Out of the 315 different goals, the Toronto Maple Leafs scored this past season, there are 16 of them that were selected to be a part of this bracket to help determine which goal was the best from this season. We’re going to need everyone’s help to decide which goal was the best, and that will all start tomorrow as the first round gets underway tomorrow afternoon.

First-round matchups:

There are eight first-round matchups that include 16 total goals to start out this bracket. As the days go by and as everyone gets their vote in for which goal was their favourite, we’ll update the bracket and have an update on our Twitter as well as an article discussing what went down in the previous round which will include who advanced to the next round, what the total votes were, and what the next round matchups are.
Matchup one: Mitch Marner vs Vegas (November 2, 2021) VS Ondrej Kase vs San Jose (October 22, 2021)
Matchup two: Auston Matthews vs Colorado (December 1, 2021) VS William Nylander vs San Jose (November 26, 2021)
Matchup three: Morgan Rielly vs Pittsburgh (February 17, 2022) VS Alex Kerfoot vs Boston (March 29, 2022)
Matchup four: Pierre Engvall vs New York I (January 22, 2022) VS Morgan Rielly vs Buffalo (November 13, 2021)
Matchup five: Auston Matthews vs Seattle (March 8, 2022) VS William Nylander vs Vegas (January 11, 2022)
Matchup six: Mitch Marner vs New York I (November 21, 2021) VS Ondrej Kase vs Buffalo (November 13, 2021)
Matchup seven: Mitch Marner vs Florida (April 5, 2022) VS David Kampf vs Pittsburgh (February 17, 2022)
Matchup eight: Ilya Mikheyev vs Florida (March 27, 2022) VS Auston Matthews vs Dallas (April 7, 2022)
With all the first-round matchups out of the way, here is what the actual bracket looks like if you wanted to take a look at it. The first four matchups I mentioned are on the left side of the bracket and the last four I mentioned are on the right side of the bracket. And as a reminder, voting starts tomorrow afternoon and will be live for 24 hours before the next round of voting begins. Once the first round is complete, we’ll have an update on who advanced and who was eliminated.
