The Leafs: not fun to watch right now!
On a five game skid, they take on the Vegas Golden Knights way past my bedtime. Let’s see if any of us make it through tonight’s game.

Pierre Engvall makes his debut

Daddy Long Neck is in.
He’s 23, he’s from Sweden, he has 16 points in 15 AHL games with the Marlies this year, and he won a Calder Cup in 2018.
This has been fun facts with Pierre Engvall!

Ilya Mikheyev’s second November point?

Mikheyev has just one point in November after 10 in October. Not a math major or someone who’s taken it in years, but that seems like a problem, to me.

Frederik Andersen

While the Leafs have yet to win with a backup in net this year, they’ve also gotten points in 13 of Frederik Andersen’s 16 games. That’s a positive to build on in what has been a weird year. And after a tough start to the year, Andersen has recovered enough to now sport a .912 save percentage.

Max Pacioretty shoots a lot

He has 90 shots on goal this year, which just seems like a lot. That’s more than Auston Matthews in the same amount of games.

Just win, baby

If the Leafs don’t win tonight, it will be their longest losing streak in quite some time. Formalities don’t matter, because they simply haven’t been good enough. Git’r’done.
