Matthews and Marner among celebrity cameos in The Nutcracker

They’re already dominating on the ice, so why not dominate on the stage? Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner have been named to the list of celebrities that will appear as the Cannon Dolls in The National Ballet of Canada’s production of The Nutcracker.

As seen above, Mats Sundin has once performed in the same role while he was in Toronto, so Matthews and Marner will be following in big Cannon Doll footsteps.

Their cameos will be during the December 19th production, tickets range anywhere from $85-165. Only slightly cheaper than seeing them perform on the ice.

Other local celebrities that will play the same roles for different dates are Arkells’ Max Kerman and Anthony Carone, TSN personalities Darren Dreger and James Duthie, and comedians Nour Hadidi, Ali Hassan, and Natalie Norman.
