NHL Releases 2017-18 Schedule, Leafs Start Oct. 4 in Winnipeg

The NHL released its schedule for the upcoming 2017-18 season. The Leafs will open the season in Winnipeg against the Jets on Wednesday, Oct. 4, while their home opener will be Saturday, Oct. 7 against the New York Rangers.

Other notable games include their first ever game against the Vegas Golden Knights, when they visit the ACC on Monday, Nov. 6, their first trip to Vegas on New Years Eve, their Stadium Series game against the Washington Capitals on Saturday, March 3,  as well as a Tuesday, Dec. 19 game at 2:00pm to commemorate the franchise’s 100th anniversary of their first ever NHL game as the Toronto Arenas. They will close out the season on Saturday, April 7 when they host the Montreal Canadiens.
