Welcome to TheLeafsNation Game Day where we take a look at today’s Leafs game and a few other things happening around the league.
It’s a quiet night around the NHL with the Maple Leafs-Canadiens game being just one of two tonight and the biggest question is can the Leafs keep up their offensive ways?

If there’s one thing we know, is that it’s going to be one heck of a game pitting two of the best teams in the North Division against each other. The Leafs took game one 5-4.

Who I like

The last time the two teams played, William Nylander ($4,900) and John Tavares ($5,700) both had three-point performances with the former scoring two goals while the latter had two assists. Nylander has 14 points in as many games against the Habs, while Tavares, too, has seen a fair share of success against them posting 33 points in 36 career games.
On the other side, Shea Weber ($5,500) has been providing solid value all season long scoring seven points in 12 games averaging eight FPPG. Josh Anderson ($5,000) has been off to an incredible start this year scoring eight goals in 12 games averaging 12.8 FPPG. He’s more affordable than I would’ve imagined.
Corey Perry ($2,700) is on the Canadiens top power-play unit and could be worth a look tonight.

Around the NHL

There’s only one other game on tap tonight with the Boston Bruins and New York Rangers teeing off.
The big player will be David Pastrnak ($8,500), who has scored five goals and eight points in his first four games of the year averaging 27 (!) FPPG. He’s a must-start in any lineup.
Chris Kreider ($4,300) has averaged 8.3 FPPG while only scoring four goals in 11 games this year. He could be worth a look tonight, too, as someone who will surely rebound sooner rather than later.
