Welcome to TheLeafsNation Game Day where we take a look at today’s Leafs game and a few other things happening around the league all with daily fantasy in mind.
If there’s one thing we’ve seen in the four Maple Leafs – Jets games this year, it’s tons of offence. 25 goals, in fact, have been scored between the two so we very well could be in for another barn burner tonight.

Who I like

In a game the over shouldn’t have too tough of a time reaching, I would fade either of the goaltenders in this game.
You know who I wouldn’t fade tonight? Auston Matthews ($9,200). He’s got four points in his last three games and is starting to look as good as he did early in the season again. Against Winnipeg, he’s scored three goals and five points in four games this year.
Linemate Mitch Marner ($8,200) could also be a solid building block piece for your lineup tonight. He’s got six points in four games against the Jets this year averaging almost 5 FPPG more than his season average.
Justin Holl ($2,800) has had solid showings against the Jets scoring three points in four games.
On the other end, Nik Ehlers ($6,900) has had the Leafs number this year scoring three goals and as many points in four games.

Around the NHL

Kaapo Kahokonen ($7,900) could be a solid start against the San Jose Sharks. He’s allowed six goals in three games snagging wins in two of them. Teammate Mats Zuccarello ($6,400) could be a solid play, too, with four points in two games against the Sharks this year.
Is tonight the night the Buffalo Sabres win? Who knows. Nonetheless, Taylor Hall ($4,400) has looked solid against the Flyers this year scoring six points in six games averaging 11.4 FPPG against them. He’s cheap enough to take a flyer on tonight.
