Welcome to TheLeafsNation Game Day where we take a look at today’s Leafs game and a few other things happening around the league all with daily fantasy in mind.
The Leafs are currently in the midst of a five game losing streak, but have a chance to stop the slide against the Jets tonight.

Who I like
Fade the goalies.
All the Leafs big guns, Auston Matthews ($9,200), Mitch Marner ($8,200), John Tavares ($6,800) and William Nylander ($5,300), have all averaged around 10 FPPG against the Jets this year, but none stand out as being better than the others in this particular matchup.
With that being said, both Matthews and Tavares have scored 15 points in the last 10 games, with the former scoring 10 goals in that time frame.
On the other side, Andrew Copp ($4,900) has been solid for the Jets against the Leafs this year scoring five points in seven games.
Around the NHL
I like Devan Dubnyk ($7,900) in net against the lowly St. Louis Blues tonight. St. Louis has really struggled as of late, and Dubnyk is looking to gain some ground in net with Colorado.
I also like Bryan Rust ($6,900) against the Devils tonight. He’s lit them up this year scoring five goals and as many assists in six games. He’ll look to keep that up.
