You hear that? Something’s ringing. Well, answer the damn phone, because it’s time for the top ten Uncle Leo plays from last season. While more known for his defensive play, his highlight reel is… quite average. But, we still love him regardless. Enjoy!
As always, all videos come from Goal Leafs Goal.

10. Assist on Hyman Goal vs. Florida (Mar. 28)

Let’s kick off the countdown with a nice pass to his adopted son Zach Hyman, to spring him for a great opportunity to score on the penalty kill. Nothing special, but a solid pass nonetheless.

9. Assist on Brown Goal vs. Tampa Bay (Mar. 16)

Another nice pass, this one a soft backhand pass to Connor Brown in front of the net through a couple bodies. The pass was so soft, the puck could’ve been an egg, and Brown could’ve received it without breaking it.

8. Assist on Nylander Goal vs. Montreal (Nov. 19)

Once again, a great pass from Komarov, this time onto the stick of William Nylander, as he set him up with a great pass from beside the net to beat Carey Price.

7. Secondary Assist on Kadri Goal vs. Winnipeg (Oct. 19)

Failed to load video.

This one has the signature Uncle Leo grit on it, as he has Brandon Tanev all over him, and he still gets the pass off to Nylander, who in turn sets up Nazem Kadri for the goal. An excellent pass despite all the pressure he faced.

6. Assist on Kadri goal vs. Edmonton (Nov. 29)

Komarov shows his defensive ability here, stealing the puck off of a failed Matt Benning pass, and setting up Kadri for the goal with a nice pass in tight.

5. Goal vs. Florida (Nov. 17)

The first goal on the list, Uncle Leo scores a nifty backhand goal on this play, placing it over James Reimer’s shoulders, and into the back of the net. Reimer probably should’ve had it, but it looked sexy regardless.

4. Goal vs. Detroit (Jan. 1)

This goal was more about the moment than the look. After two periods of seemingly not being able to solve Jared Coreau (lol), Komarov tapped in a Jake Gardiner pass to tie the game. He did so while Nick Jensen was tying him up, but Uncle Leo just laughed it off, and scored anyways.

3. Goal vs. Florida (Mar. 28)

Leo just has no respect for the Panthers, as they make the list for the third time. This time, he wires a bullet past James on a one-timer. It’s a simple shot, but it was fast, hard, and pin-point accurate, so just take a minute and pay it some respect.

2. Goal vs. Flyers (Nov. 11)

Failed to load video.

After almost a month of not being able to score, Leo got his first on an excellent breakaway goal on the penalty kill. It’s a typical NHL 17 breakaway goal, just forehand, backhand, five hole, but Leo made it look nice, even leaving the goalie sliding.

1. Goal vs. Arizona (Dec. 23)

A similar goal to #2, Uncle Leo scores another forehand, backhand, five hole breakaway goal, but this time shows his speed to break through for the break away. Like I said, not what you’d consider to lead a top ten highlight reel, but Komarov is more known for his defense than his hands.
