Who’s a Leafs’ prospect you’re excited about and why?

It’s August. We’re bored. Let’s talk about prospects we like.

Sean Durzi. For no real reason other than he had similar numbers to Dermott in his Draft+1 year. Also the whole “living a childhood dream” thing.

Timothy Liljegren seems pretty good. I’d keep an eye on him

That August Matthews guy seems pretty good

I like Filip Kral. I think he could be a really solid depth defender in a couple years. He’s got good skating and enough offense that his translation to the NHL should be within reach.

For me, it’s Andreas Johnsson. I’m excited to see how he plays with John Tavares.

Grundström. He seems like a real stud defensively and offensively. Like a more skilled Hyman! Would love to see Babs fall in love with him and utilize him the way he uses Hyman now

I had a good time watching Calle Rosen during the single Calder Cup Final game I went to in Cedar Park, so. I’ll go with him.
