William Nylander, Kasperi Kapanen “ok” after minor car accident

There’s no joke or gotcha! here.

As first reported by CP24’s Stephanie Smyth, today, William Nylander and Kasperi Kapanen were involved in a minor car accident in the vicinity of the Leafs’ practice facility at the MasterCard Centre.

The good news is they appear to be okay.

Photos showed the two after the incident, seemingly on their own two feet.

TSN’s Kirsten Shilton followed up with this:

Exhale, folks. Hold a loved one close if you’d like. That could have been a whole lot worse, and puts the whole hockey game into perspective. You never like to see anyone involved in a car accident, and hopefully the other driver (who appears to be a Leafs fan, based on his hat) at least has a good insurance policy, because we know Kapanen’s still on his entry-level deal and shouldn’t be spending any money on car repairs.
