WWYDW: Early Season Goalie Controversy

It’s only been three games, but there already seems to be a little debate around who the Toronto Maple Leafs should be starting in net on a game-to-game basis. We’ve heard that Mike Babcock likes to have a go-to starter, but Jonathan Bernier has done little to impress in the two games he’s started. His backup, James Reimer, has fared only slightly better in one relief appearance and one start.
With back-to-back games this coming weekend (Columbus on Friday, Pittsburgh on Saturday), it’s likely we will see Bernier and Reimer split the games like Babcock attempted to do last week – but who gets Friday’s start?
I’d say that most teams ‘lead with their best foot/goaltending’, so whoever is in net against the Blue Jackets may be the team’s number one goaltender (this week). Reimer has probably earned the start, but Babcock may be looking to Bernier to bounce back and regain his footing.
Either way, somebody has to start. How would you deploy Toronto’s netminders going forward?
The person with the most thumbs up gets to start in net against the Sabres next week. The person with the most thumbs down gets fired out of a cannon and into the sun.
