The Leafs have a chance to do something they have only achieved twice since 1987: take a 3-1 series lead. It will be easier said than done since the Lightning will try and do everything in their power to force an additional game, but it is an opportunity that is attainable nonetheless.

The Leafs are underdogs tonight (+105)

The oddsmakers aren’t heavily favouring the two-time reigning champions, but they aren’t giving the Leafs good odds either. Dating back to the start of the 2020 playoffs, the Lightning are 14-0 in the game following a postseason loss. Can Toronto snap the streak or will history repeat itself?

@John Tavares records a multipoint night (+300)

The Leafs’ captain only has one point so far in this series, a secondary assist on an @Auston Matthew power-play tally in Game 1. Most of the other forwards have been carrying their load up to this point but getting Tavares going will prove pivotal for the team’s success. He is also at +800 to score at least three points; if there’s any night to leave his mark offensively, it’s this one.

A low-scoring affair? (+400)

There has been a combined 20 goals scored through the first three games and it seems likely that this could be another high-scoring game. We have yet to see a goalie duel between two of the league’s best and if that were to be the case, we could see a nailbiter. If want to get crazy and think that a 2-1 final score isn’t low enough, a 1-0 final is at a ridiculous +2200 odds.
