One day before the official trailer release of NHL 23, EA has announced the cover athletes for the game.
Sarah Nurse is the first woman to ever grace the cover of an NHL video game. Alongside her is Anaheim Ducks forward, Trevor Zegras, who’s also making his debut as an NHL cover athlete.
There hasn’t been many rumours about what could be in the new game, although Zegras did mention that his Michigan-pass will officially be in the game.
The Zegras michigan-pass has officially made it’s way into #NHL23. If it’s anything like the Michigan, it will be nearly impossible to pull off. Interested to see the controls and how it works.
It's official: "The Zegras" has been added to @EASPORTS NHL 23. Trevor Zegras (@tzegras11) and game developers on bringing a "video game goal" into a video game. Plus, what's the next magic trick Zegras has planned for the NHL and @AnaheimDucks? espn.com/nhl/story/_/id…
There’s no official release date for the game, but with NHL 22 coming out on October 15th last year, the expectation is that NHL 23 will come around the same time.
If you’re looking out for the NHL 23 full reveal, make sure to be around when it’s released tomorrow at 11AM ET, or 8AM PT on the EA Sports NHL YouTube channel.
