If you’re a fan of the EA Sports NHL series, you may have already seen some of the player ratings that have been released over the past couple of days as we wait for the release of the video game next week.
However, if you haven’t, it’s okay because I’m here to show you the top player ratings that include four players from the Toronto Maple Leafs.
On top of the top 10 player ratings from each position EA Sports NHL has released so far, they have also shown some player attribute ratings ranging from slapshot power to wrist shot power to body checking and many others.

There are two Toronto players in the top 10 for right-wingers in NHL 24, and they are as you may have guessed already, Mitch Marner and William Nylander.
Marner and Nylander are sitting comfortably in the top 10 of their position and are rated high yet again. Marner, who was given a 90 rating last year, has been given an upgrade of two overall and now sits at 92.
Nylander, who was given an 87 rating in NHL 23, has also been given an upgrade of two overall and is now listed at an 89 overall which is fitting given his career year last season as he scored 40 goals and 87 points.
Here is this year’s top 10 ratings compared to their ratings in NHL 23.

Mikko Rantanen: 91 > 93

Top 10 Centers:
There is one Toronto player in the top 10 for centers in NHL 24, and it’s pretty obvious who it is. It’s Auston Matthews.
Coming in at a player rating of 93, downgraded from a 94 last year, Matthews is the fifth-highest-rated center in the game, and obviously, he is the highest-rated Maple Leaf.
It’s understandable why he was downgraded as he followed up his historic 60-goal, 106-point season in 2021-22 (73 games) with a 40-goal, 85-point campaign in 2022-23 (74 games).
Matthews is still regarded as one of the best players in the game, and I wouldn’t be shocked if he jumps up in rating at some point during the season.
Here is this year’s top 10 ratings compared to their ratings in NHL 23.
Connor McDavid: 95 > 97
Leon Draisaitl: 93 > 95
