<p>At any rate, we kicked off the show – this was before the trade broke – by discussing the deadline a bit. The past few days have been nuts. Will there be anything to discuss on Friday? We hope so! For what it&#8217;s worth, the Maple Leafs may not be done.</p>
<p>Presented by Door Dash, The Appetizer focused on Toronto’s 2-1 OT win against Buffalo on Wednesday night. Auston Matthews notched the GWG and Ilya Samsonov made 24 stops. William Nylander was outstanding. The Leafs finished their five-game homestand 3-2-0. It was a low event game. It wasn’t pretty, but they got the job done. They pulled it out. That&#8217;s all that matters.</p>
