Give us your best trade proposals for a chance to win a Violent Gents gift card

Jan 30, 2016, 15:30 ESTUpdated:

We are t-minus 30 days until the NHL Trade Deadline, meaning we’ve got a tonne of trades and rumours to break down and debate just around the corner. I don’t see any need to wait any longer, so let’s kick TLN’s deadline coverage off with a bang (and a lucrative contest)!
So here’s what we’re going to do – you, the readers of TLN, are going to send us your very best Maple Leafs trade proposals. You can leave them in the comments below, or tweet us at @TLNdc, or drop us a line on our Facebook Page, or hire a dude with a plane to write it in the sky above Toronto. Don’t worry, I’ll see it. Make sure to include in your trade proposals who the Leafs are going to trade, where they’re going to be traded to, and what the Leafs are going to get back in return.
As the deadline gets closer, our staff will pick the best trade proposals sent in and pick the big winner. The grand prize? A $50 Violent Gentlemen gift card courtesy of our most violent and gentlemanly friends at VG.

(But hey, just don’t get the Bure tee because I’m already rockin’ it around the city.)
So, what’s it gonna be? Do they trade P.A. Parenteau for picks? Leo Komarov for a good prospect or two? Picks and youngsters for Steven Stamkos? Just kidding! He’ll sign here on July 1st anyways. Let us know, and you just might win a cool prize and the adoration of all your fellow Leafs fans.
