Similar to how the Oilers have the dynamic duo of McDavid and Draisaitl selected to the Olympics already, and Chicago has Kane and Jones selected, the Leafs too join the list of teams with multiple Olympians.
Kristians Rubins, aka Captain Latvia, joins Auston Matthews as the second player from the Leafs organization to punch his ticket to the Olympics.
Rubins was recently assigned to the Marlies where bench boss Greg Moore told our Nick Barden that Rubins projects to be a top pairing defender. So all and all, not a bad week for Rubins and congrats to him.
