Leafs call up Greg McKegg

Mar 26, 2015, 10:18 EDTUpdated:
With injuries to Peter Holland, Trevor Smith, Zach Sill, and the hearts of fans, the Leafs have called up Greg McKegg.
The 22 year old has had a decent season with the Marlies, putting up 17 goals and 31 points in 51 games. At 6’0 and 185 pounds, McKegg doesn’t bring a ton of size down the middle, but has a solid overall skill set. He has always been a bit of a wildcard prospect, so seeing him get a game or two with the Leafs will be good.
McKegg has played three games with the Leafs over the last two seasons, but wasn’t able to register a point.
One thing I know for sure – McKegg might not be the best player in the lineup tonight, but he has the funnest name to say.
Oh and here’s an idea – put him with Casey Bailey and you’ll have the makings of a line that hasn’t been brutally affected by this season.
