Kyle Clifford is back in the Leafs organization!
The 30-year-old was acquired by the Leafs back in the 2019 season with @Jack Campbell in exchange for @Trevor Moore and two draft picks. Clifford played 16 games, scoring a goal and adding two assists with the Leafs in 2019.
This year with St. Louis, Clifford had one point in two games played.
According to DailyFaceoff’s Frank Seravalli, Clifford will report to the Toronto Marlies.
Hearing the #Leafs have traded for Kyle Clifford, who cleared waivers today. He’ll be assigned to the Marlies.
He was placed on waivers yesterday and cleared, which allowed Toronto to trade for him and send him right down to the AHL.
