A year ago today, the Toronto Maple Leafs had the chance to force a Game 7 against the Washington Capitals.
Despite one highlight-reel goal from Auston Matthews, the Leafs were unable to force that seventh winner-take-all game.
Today, they get a second chance in their second consecutive do-or-die matchup.
