After being removed from the Leafs Phase 3 training camp roster, Mac Hollowell is back:
Timothy Liljegren has been removed from the Return to Play roster due to being “unfit to play”. It’s not known if he will return or if this is a permanent change for the Maple Leafs defenceman.
According to TSN’s Kristen Shilton, Liljegren did make an appearance yesterday but was talking to the medical trainer and as we know, didn’t skate.
With the NHL and NHLPA’s protocol, players shall only be deemed unfit to play and there will likely be no update other than those exact words from Sheldon Keefe later today.
