After the Maple Leafs’ 6-3 loss to the Nashville Predators on Saturday night, there were a lot of decisions that needed to be made.
I guess giving Nick Robertson some games with the Marlies was one of them.
The Maple Leafs don’t play until Wednesday, so it makes sense to give Robertson some more ice-time, especially with the Marlies where he’ll get top-six minutes.
In nine NHL games this season, the 20-year-old has one goal. With the Marlies this year, Robertson has eight points in nine games.
