The Marlies have announced yet another signing for next season, and this time it’s Brandon Kruse to a one-year deal.
The 23-year-old spent last season with Boston College where he played 38 games, scoring three goals and 23 assists in that span. Kruse is a left winger on the smaller side, standing at five-foot-nine and weighing just 154 pounds.
Similar to a number of college players last season, Kruse played three games in the AHL once his season of college was over. He tallied one point in that span.
Prior to attending Boston College, the 23-year-old spent four seasons with Bowling Green State University. In his final year there, he served as an alternate captain, being a massive part of the team on the ice. Throughout his time there, Kruse scored 142 points (38G, 104A) across 151 games.
Kruse will join the Marlies when training camp begins closer to the fall.
