Knies was initially paired alongside Matthews and Mitch Marner to start the year but during Matthews&#8217; <a href="https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/news/leafs-mitch-marner-is-having-an-mvp-level-season-and-it-changes-nothing">eight-game absence</a>, Marner has been in terrific form alongside John Tavares and Bobby McMann.</p>
