<p>The NHL Awards are all done and as the dust settles, we now have a clear picture of how the voting turned out for this year&#8217;s festivities.</p>
<p>It concluded with the vote for the NHL All-Star team, and three of the Leafs&#8217; core pieces found themselves on the final chart but not enough to sneak onto the first or second team.</p>

<p>Mitch Marner got the most votes among the Leafs players this season with 51 total points, collecting 10 second-place votes and 21 third-place votes. Fresh off a 99-point season, he was already a finalist for the Selke Trophy and got some recognization for the Hart Trophy and the Lady Byng Award.</p>
<p>Auston Matthews finished seventh among NHL centres with eight points due to getting one second-place vote and five third-place votes. Although he is coming off an injury-riddled season as he was unable to surpass his 60-goal campaign from the prior season, he still managed to hit the 40-goal mark for the fifth time in his career and had the second-best statistical year of his career with 85 points.</p>
<p>William Nylander rounds out the group with just one point and a single third-place vote for right-wingers. His 2022-23 season was the best of his career scoring wise with him hitting the 40-goal plateau for the first time ever and flirting with 90 points while being one of four Leafs to not miss a single game during the regular season. Nylander&#8217;s impressive season helped him gain some votes for the Lady Byng Award in addition to a nod for the All-Star Team.</p>
<p>Altogether, the Leafs did not take home any awards this year and apart from Marner being a Selke finalist, did not come close on the ones they got votes for.</p>
